Green Competences for Sustainable Youth Work
The project Green Competencies for Sustainable Youth Work (GCS) aims to strengthen the environmental skills of young people and youth professionals in Germany, Italy, Slovakia and Spain through non-formal education and blended learning, to promote awareness of sustainability, to support behavioral change and to enable sustainable European cooperation.
Project goals:
- Construction of a Green Media Hub as a central resource for environmental tools and content.
- Production of youth-led digital content (podcasts, videos, TikToks) for education and awareness-raising.
- Promoting behavioral change in line with the EU Green Deal.
- Organization of local events, Green Talks and a Green Action Festival for the inclusion of the community.
- Ensuring the sustainability of resources and green practices beyond the project duration.

Goals of the partnership:
- Exchange of best practices and methods of non-formal education for green skills.
- Promoting networks and synergies between youth organizations in different countries.
- Supporting the transferability of tools and guidelines to other young people and educators.
- Increasing the visibility and impact of the project in Europe, with the aim of reaching over 600 participants.
